Rise up and Walk! Miracles in Central America

Early March was a time for miracles in Guatemala & El Salvador, as our team from Faith Alive Bible College / Canadian Fire School of Missions impacted lives in a number of settings.   We ministered in numerous settings, including churches, a Bible School, children's outreaches, feeding the hungry, and even put on a breakfast for women who work on the streets.
One young man at one of our services sat in a wheelchair and allowed us to pray for him.  As soon as the prayer was done, he was unbuckling his seatbelt of his wheelchair wanting to stand up.   He was a little shaky at first, but eventually was kicking a soccer ball and giving me a ride in his wheelchair!   Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.  He is still the Great Physician!

Asking a young man if he'd like prayer...

After we prayed he immediately unbuckled his seatbelt on his wheelchair &he wanted to stand up... something he couldn't do before!

The first few steps were shaky, but after a bit he was standing on his own.  He was so happy!

Not only did he give me a ride in his wheelchair, but we also had him kicking a soccer ball back and forth with us!

A short but fruitful visit to Guatemala

Late November 2019 was a powerful time in Guatemala, reaching out to the hurting, but also those who reach the hurting.  This short visit was about ministry to the leaders and team at Casa de Refugio in Chiquimulilla, Guatemala along with touching lives on the streets with these great people.   Souls were saved, leaders were impacted, and callings were confirmed.   ¡Dios es bueno!

Nation-wide impact continues in Panama

It has been a privilege to be a part of a team of evangelists who have made nation-wide impact in Panama throughout 2018 and 2019.    Tens of thousands of lives have been transformed through Panama para Cristo (Panama for Christ) and our visit in November was a continuation of this move of God.   I was able to minister to leaders on this team as well as in many churches across the nation, where we prayed with many with the call to evangelism.    God is alive and moving in Central America!

The Gospel is preached in schools across Panama

In October 2018, Canadian Fire was privileged to be a part of Panama para Cristo (Panama for Christ) which was a year long evangelistic movement that led over 100,000 souls to Christ.   That equals about 2.5% of the entire population of the nation.

Our part in this awesome move of God was ministering in schools where we presented the Gospel to over 2000 students and we saw many hundreds give their lives to Christ.   Many were delivered out of hopelessness and oppression.    Others received truth that prevented them from committing suicide.   Some of the schools we ministered in were controlled by gangs and the drug trade.

God moved in so many powerful ways as we were part of something historic and nation-changing.
