One of the highlights of our recent trip to the Philippines was a gathering of evangelists for a morning. A powerful result of this meeting was the development of a local LIFE evangelism group for the city of Davao in the Philippines. LIFE stands for the Local and International Fellowship of Evangelists. Their first monthly meeting as a group was March 9th.
We have had a local LIFE group in our city in Canada for a few years and we have seen our group grow from 6 people to close to 40 outreach leaders and evangelists from across the denominational spectrum. We have had many opportunities to connect and collaborate… and now it is good to see another local group of evangelists in another part of the world meeting regularly like what we do in Canada. There is always a powerful synergy when evangelists connect and work together.
